Kaiser Systems, Inc. has specialized in the design and production of high performance high voltage power conversion systems since it’s founding in 1980. One of KSI's first products set new standards for reliability and stability in the semiconductor equipment industry and played a key role in the industry's ability to develop process equipment which made possible today's advanced microprocessors.

In recent years, KSI has gained considerable expertise in high performance X-ray power supplies for both medical and industrial applications. Typical products incorporate closed-loop regulation of emission current, and are produced in single- or double-ended versions at power ranges to 6 kW and output voltages to 425kV. X-ray tubes can be integrated into the HV output stage of the supply to result in a connectorless and more cost effective system.

Another area in which KSI has become an industry leader is that of capacitor charging and flashlamp power supplies for medical and industrial laser systems. KSI's innovative designs have received wide industry acceptance in the US as well as abroad, and are designed to be compliant with stringent domestic and international standards and directives for medical and industrial equipment.

Operations are headquartered at its 35,000 square foot company-owned facility in Beverly, Massachusetts.  Additional facilities are located in Arizona and California.  The company's ERP system allows efficient control of manufacturing and product development, and provides a method of product traceability not present in many companies in this industry.

In early 2002, Kaiser Systems, Inc. acquired Hartlauer Prazisions Electronik GmbH (“HPE”), one of Germany’s leading producers of high voltage power supplies and related products.  This acquisition has allowed KSI to expand sales and service in Europe, and provides easily accessible technical and commercial support for new and existing European customers.
